Mini 7's - Girls

The Mid Kerry Girls Mini 7's competition was played on Friday last in Cromane.

A fabulous day for football made the event all the more enjoyable for the girls involved.

The girls started the day in Group 3 along with Cullina and Glenbeigh B. A win and a loss in the group stages ensured the girls progressed to the Quarter Final stage setting up a meeting with Milltown.

Unfortunately the girls were beaten by a goal in the Quarter Final meaning the day ended there for the girls.

For a very young team, the girls really bonded and improved with every game. We have no doubt that these girls will continue to grow and develop throughout the coming months and also again in 5th and 6th classes as a lot of the girls involved are in 4th class.
