Halloween Costume Day in aid of Sudan Appeal
We held a Halloween Costume Day on Friday 27th October to raise funds for the Sudan Appeal.
In December, volunteers from the Bons Secours Hospital, Tralee are travelling to Sudan to bring their skills, equipment and supplies to the region. Claire Foley, mother of Zach, Myles and Olwyn is travelling with the group. To support Claire and this initiative, we decided to hold a Halloween Costume Day on Friday 27th October where the children dressed up
in costume for Halloween.
A contribution towards the Sudan fund of €1 or €2 was recommended on the day.
Thank you to all the children and parents for the fantastic effort that was put into the day.
Thank you too to the members of Killorglin & District Pipe Band who visited the school to add to the occasion.
A fantastic amount of €261.80 was raised for Claire and the staff of the Bons Hospital, Tralee to use towards their upcoming Sudan trip.
Thank you all again.
